It's Valentine's Day, the time of year when we celebrate love. As we well know, love is always in the air in Harmony, but unfortunately, its course doesn't always run smoothly. So, in honor of the holiday, it's only appropriate to take a look back at Harmony's Most Star-Crossed Lovers. Relive the joy and pain, the good times and the bad, the ups and downs of these passionate couples.

Ethan and Theresa
How They Met: Theresa had a crush on Ethan since she was a young girl. But they finally "met" for the first time at Harmony's summer carnival...when Theresa accidentally spilled blue paint all over Ethan!
First Kiss: Ethan was engaged to Gwen but had fallen for Theresa. After Theresa ran out of the movie theater crying, Ethan found her on the wharf and impulsively kissed her.
True Romance: Ethan got down on one knee and proposed to Theresa at Midnight Mass. Of course, a beaming Theresa accepted!
Biggest Obstacle: On their wedding day, Ethan learned that Theresa had known the truth about his paternity long before she had claimed she did. Ethan called off the wedding. Theresa was determined to make things right between them, so she flew to Bermuda to convince Julian to take Ethan back into the family. But Theresa had too much champagne, and wound up married to Julian!
Current Status: Theresa swore to Ethan there were no more secrets between them, but found out she was keeping a huge one: she was pregnant with Julian's baby! Ethan told Theresa he needed trust in a relationship and that their relationship was over forever.

Luis and Sheridan
How They Met: Upon Sheridan's return to Harmony from Paris, she crashed into Luis' police car! Needless to say, Luis was furious...and the two were off and fighting.
First Kiss: Luis walked Sheridan to her door after their first date at the Lobster Shack. To cap off the romantic evening, Luis gave Sheridan a sweet kiss on the cheek.
True Romance: Sheridan was buried alive but miraculously came to life on Christmas Eve. Luis could hardly believe his eyes when he saw the love of his life in front of him. He took her in his arms and the two finally declared their undying love for one another.
Biggest Obstacle: With the help of Hank Bennett, Sheridan faked her own death in order to bring down a drug cartel. To make her death authentic, they didn't clue Luis in. Luis believed he'd lost Sheridan forever. When he learned she was buried alive, Luis moved heaven and earth to get to her. He appeared to be too late, until he got his miracle.
Current Status: During their vacation in Bermuda, Sheridan was presumed dead in a boat explosion. Luis was left to mourn his beloved again. He doesn't know that she is actually alive but stricken with amnesia! Despite her death, their love lives on. Luis continues to feel Sheridan's presence...and Sheridan remembers a great love in her past.

Chad and Whitney
How They Met: Chad came to Harmony in search of his parents. His first stop once in town was the Harmony PD's Flea Market. He left there in a hurry after a scuffle with TC, and on his way out bumped smack into Whitney...sending her crashing to the floor!
First Kiss: After spending time together at the Book Café, Chad escorted Whitney home. In an unexpected move, he gently kissed her on the cheek.
True Romance: Chad was deeply sorry after he distracted Whitney during a tennis match, and therefore caused her to lose it. As a result, he decided to help her practice! Having Chad take interest in something so important to her meant a lot to Whitney.
Biggest Obstacle: Whitney's sister, Simone, is also in love with Chad-and mistakenly believes that Chad loves her back! One night, Simone spied Chad and Whitney kissing. As a result, she ran into the street and was hit by a car! As Simone lay unconscious, Whitney promised her sister that if she lived, Whitney would give up Chad forever.
Current Status: Simone survived the accident and doesn't remember her sister's promise, but Whitney has kept her word. Chad has tried unsuccessfully to change Whitney's mind. Finally, Chad felt he had no choice but to move on, so he began seeing a girl named Kelly. Even though she won't admit it, Whitney doubts her decision.

Miguel and Charity
How They Met: At Harmony's summer carnival, Miguel and Charity bumped right into each other. As soon as their eyes met, they both knew they'd found their soulmate.
First Kiss: Miguel told Charity about his dream of buying an island off Harmony's coast and building a house for them. Caught up in the romance, Miguel leaned over and kissed Charity.
True Romance: Miguel and Charity were forced to stop at a garage when his bike broke down. As they waited, romantic music began to play and Miguel took the opportunity to ask his new girlfriend to dance. Charity shyly admitted that she'd never danced with a boy before, and Miguel enthusiastically volunteered to be her teacher.
Biggest Obstacle: As part of one of her many schemes to steal Miguel, Charity's cousin, Kay, sold her soul to a witch named Hecuba. As a result of this deal, hell came to Harmony and landed right in Charity's closet. Kay looked on as good-girl Charity was sucked into the flames of hell!
Current Status: Kay cast a spell that trapped Charity in a giant block of ice! A fake Charity took the real one's place in Harmony. "Zombie Charity" exists to do Kay's bidding...namely, break up Charity and Miguel! Zombie Charity is as mean as can be to poor Miguel. Miguel doesn't understand why their relationship has gone cold!

Grace and Sam
How They Met: Witch Tabitha started a fire in Grace's Boston apartment. Luckily, Sam lived in the same building and rescued Grace. After the fire, Grace had no memory of her past. But Sam and Grace built a future together.
First Kiss: After the fire, Sam took Grace in and they developed feelings for one another. One night, Sam proclaimed his love for Grace...and then kissed her for the first time.
True Romance: In order to reaffirm their love, Sam and Grace renewed their wedding vows in a heart-warming ceremony, surrounded by family and friends.
Biggest Obstacle: Sam made the decision not to tell Grace about his long-ago love affair with childhood sweetheart, Ivy. But Grace learned the truth when she overheard Julian reveal that Sam was actually the father of Ethan! Grace was so shocked that she fell down the stairs at the Crane mansion and miscarried her baby. The couple separated. Eventually, Grace found it in her heart to forgive Sam, and the two reconciled.
Current Status: Grace and Sam's marriage is as strong as ever, despite Ivy's interference. Ivy blackmailed David Hastings into pretending to be Grace's first husband. However, their marriage remained solid. But Ivy is not one to give up. She is currently forcing David to pretend that Grace is the mother of David's son, John. Grace is thrilled to have another son in her life, but Sam can't help being skeptical. But no matter what obstacles are thrown in their path, Grace and Sam continue to beat them...together.
