AOL Live heated up when Jesse Metcalfe (Miguel) stopped by to chat. AOL's August Teen Celebrity of the Month answered questions about his career, his character, his co-stars and much more. Read on to see what Jesse had to say!

Welcome to AOL Live! I'm CrushQueenJess here with AOL's Celebrity of the Month and 'Passions' hottie Jesse Metcalfe! Welcome to AOL Jesse! It's great to have you here! I love watching you on 'Passions' as Miguel. How did you get the job?
What's up, everybody? Thanks for coming! I went to an open audition in New York City while I was going to college at NYU. That was my second audition. They flew me out to LA, and I got the part.

Jesse, are you satisfied with your career, or do you intend to pursue other mediums in your craft?
I am the kind of person that is never really satisfied. I am trying to take my career as far as possible. Right now, 'Passions' is my primary focus. I also have other areas of interest. I studied film in college and have an interest in directing. I am also into music.

Do you feel that you can relate to your character?
Absolutely! We have some similarities and some differences. The similarities: Miguel is a pretty courageous person. He is honest and not afraid to show his emotions. I am the same in that respect. We are also similar in that we both grew up in a small town -- which I think has to do with Miguel's personality. Miguel is pretty sheltered and naive. When I was at that age myself, I was more experienced and more worldly. So we differ in that way. Miguel has never been out of his home town, and I have traveled quite a bit.

What was your most embarrassing high school moment?
My most embarrassing high school moment is when I got caught for skipping school. I went to a private school, so instead of being suspended, I had to rake leaves on the campus for two weeks. So every day I would be out raking leaves, and all my friends would see me and laugh. Although there were some friends who would bring me warm drinks, since it was cold in Connecticut. But it was pretty embarrassing!

In real life, which actress do you get along with better, Molly Stanton, who plays Charity, or Deanna Wright, who plays Kay?
I get along with both girls pretty well. Molly and I have so many scenes together, so we are like brother and sister, so we get along really well. Molly is like one of my most favorite people, just generally speaking. Probably Molly, but I am great friends with Deanna! She's a great girl as well.

Hi! This is Paula! I love your work! I was wondering, who is your biggest influence?
I guess in life in general, I would say my mother had the biggest influence.

Jesse, if the ratings of 'Passions' remain the same as they are now, how much longer do you expect the show to last?
I mean, it is hard to put a number on that. I think it is going to last a long time, at least 10 years. There is a real strong following right now, and I don't see that waning.

I know that you absolutely love basketball. Which teams are your favorites? How many days, in actuality, do you work on the set a week?
Anywhere from three to five days a week. It varies.

Do you ever wish your character was different or did more?
Yeah, sometimes I do wish my character had a dark side. At times I feel he is a little one-dimensional. He is always [with Charity] all the time. I try to create different choices, but still, that is hard. You have to work within the framework of the writer, so I try to do that and add what I can.

Do you wear boxers or briefs or anything at all?
Sometimes I wear boxers and sometimes I wear briefs ....but I NEVER wear tightie-whities!

Do you have a girlfriend?
Right now I am seeing someone.

This is Jenn. What is your hometown? How often do you get to visit it?
I grew up in Connecticut in Waterford. I haven't been back very recently. Since I have been in LA for the last two years, I have been back four times. But I don't really miss it all that much, although I do miss my family.

Do you think that Kay will ever win Miguel over?
I think there is a strong possibility of that, considering what has happened on the island. So keep watching, because I see something big coming out of it!

Hi, my name is Ryan and I want to become an actor. Can you give me tips on how to become one? Thank you.
I'd say get involved as soon as possible. Stay focused. It is a lot of work. Have a good work ethic. Concentrate on your goal, and you can achieve it. If you are in high school, get involved in productions. Eat, sleep, and breathe acting, and you have a good shot!

Hey, Jesse. I want to know what it's like playing a part that isn't yourself. Is it hard to get into the whole *Miguel vibe* thing? Or does it just come to you?
After playing the character over two years, it is pretty easy to think the way Miguel thinks. I don't think we are such different people, so it isn't too difficult to get into Miguel's mindset. Sometimes the story lines are so ridiculous that I have to find a more... anchor, so I can get a handle on the scene. If I am fighting a demon, then I try to think that I am fighting my own personal demon. I don't have any personal strength to fall on when dealing with demons, so I have to search for abstracts.

How does it feel to be August Teen Celebrity of the Month?
Feels very cool! They made me look like I was totally a pro basketball player! They made me look good! They did a real good job. I like the interview! It's just nice to be here and have this opportunity to be here and to talk with the fans! This is very cool, and I like it! :)

What are the five most important things that you want to accomplish in your life?
Happy, full life! Hopefully, get married and have a family. Be the best actor I can be! Hope to be one day in a band -- somewhat of an accomplished musician. And I want to have a really dope classic car, a 1968 Camaro Super Sport!

If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? Is there anyone that you would follow around or anywhere that you would sneak into?
Ha ha ha! I would sneak into the CIA's headquarters and find out about every conspiracy ever! I want to know if aliens exist. Who shot JFK? Is Elvis still alive? And I want to know how much info they have on me.

Jesse, how well do you rank yourself as an actor?
Ummm, you know, from the time I started, I would say I have improved 100 percent, but I still have a long way to go. Acting is not an easy task. I think I am doing okay, a pretty decent job.

What are your favorite baby names for a boy and a girl?
I haven't really given that too much thought. Having kids is too far off into the horizon. I kinda like the name Tristan for a boy, Chloe for a girl.

Which CDs are currently in your CD player?
I am listening to a band called the White Stripe. I also listen to Jeff B.

Welcome, Jesse! Do you think you will ever make any appearances here in Michigan where I live? It sure would be nice. :)
There is none scheduled to happen right now, but I definitely think I will make my way up to Michigan at some point or another.

Welcome to the chat, Jesse! It is a pleasure to be able to chat with you. :) Do you have any favorite hobbies or activities that you enjoy in your free time?
I like to play guitar. I like sports. I like to play basketball, hiking, tae kwon do, hanging out with my friends -- uh, I guess that's not a hobby, though! I love to read, go to concerts.

What's the craziest thing that you've ever done behind the scenes on the 'Passions' set? Any pranks or antics?
You know, I have never really pulled any serious pranks on anyone, but when we had our cast vs. crew ball game, one of the stage managers put a baby's dirty diaper in my bag, and I didn't find it for like two days! And that really stunk up my car! Then I broke an egg and put that in the stage manager's office, and that stunk up his office. There is a really grumpy old man that is a grip, and we took his chair and put it up in a tree on the set, and he couldn't find it! Finally he found it up in the tree. We put it up there with a crane!
